Yoroi Dōshi Tantō
Yoroi Dōshi (鎧通し) Sunnobi Tantō (寸延び短刀) with double ( 二倍) Hi (樋: groove)
Yoroi-Dōshi (鎧通し) also called "armor piercer" is one of the traditionally made Japanese swords (nihontō) that were worn often by the samurai warriors as a weapon with the traditional Daisho (Dai more Sho, largue and short sword, Katana and Wakizashi couple).
The yoroi-dōshi is an very thick Tantō, which appeared in the Sengoku period (late Muromachi era) 14th and 15th centuries.The yoroi-dōshi was made for piercing armour (in Japanese Yoroi) and for stabbing while grappling in close quarters also.
This Tanto is rare for its unusual length: Sunnobi Tantō (寸延び短刀)

Double Hi (樋: groove) on both sides of the blade
School (Den): Mino Den (美濃)
Signed (Mei): Daido Nobunao ascribed (attributed) as simplified signature of Mikawa no kami Fujiwara Daido Nobunao
Age: Muromachi period (室町時代)

Nagasa: 30.8 cm.
Moto-haba: 2.5 cm
Moto-gasane: 0.7 cm.
Sori: 0.23 cm.
Condition:
Very good for its age, only noteworthy is a series of minimal black pits in an area of about 2cm located on one of the Mune side
Habaki: pure Silver covered.
Shirasaya: Honoki wood
Bukuro: Fabric Silk, and Cotton inner
